Day 10: Florence
We started the day with a major bummer: Bradley left for home bright and early, which makes me really sad. I miss him already and I'm jealous that he gets to see our pooch and smoosh his little Louie face. There are a ton of dogs in Europe, by the way, and people bring them everywhere with them. We have FaceTimed with Lou a couple times to make us (me) feel better... but I digress. Anyway, I miss my husband a lot. Today's drizzly, cold weather matched the gloominess of Bradley's ...

I can't even put it in words. Even though it was dark out, it was still so pretty to look down onto the Mediterranean. The coach bus that we were on was huge, though, and the roads are so narrow and windy, so being the nervous wreck that I am, I was freaking out a little inside when I looked over ...
Held Florence in my hands today
... all craving something American and we decided that this was the perfect setting for it!
This week has been extremely cold so far and therefore we haven't had any gelato or have been able to walk around and see sights. Wednesday was an amazing day that I will never forget because Jana, Paige, and I took a walk across the Arno River and hiked up a hill to get to the top of Michaelangelo's peak. It was the most amazing ...
