Ideally located for visiting Sydney, both on foot and by public transport.
Staff very pleasant and helpful - went the extra mile!
Room was clean and we had an en suite bathroom.
Nice courtyard area for sitting outside and meeting people.
    Would recommend this hostel

When we first got there and saw the yellow walls, smelled the dampness, and felt the hard bed we weren't that impressed. However, when we moved to another guest house after seeing a few of them we couldn't wait to get back here. Good security, good kitchen facilities, free breakfast.

... to whatever is popular in the States, so they are about a year behind. Secondly their day time TV is old old old American stuff. Like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, The Love Boat, Bewitched, Baywatch, The Brady Bunch, Cheers, etc. I mean old stuff that is not even in reruns anymore in the States. Then when you get into evening TV it becomes reruns of Friends, The Big Bang Theory, King of Queens, etc. but the beginning seasons. ...
