Arrival in my favorite city :)

We arrived in Krakow at 6 am. Our hostel reception was not open until 8, so we hung out at a park. I feel at home. I lived around here as a child and I studied abroad here last summer. It feels really good to be back. I missed it so much throughout the past year. Our hostel, Traveller's Inn Private Rooms, was very nice: nicely decorated, friendly, …

Off to the Galeria Krakowska...the mall in Krakow. It is truly great. Four levels and so many great stores. It was easier to shop last year when $1= 3 zloty and now it's $1 = 2 zloty so it's a lot harder to find good deals. Later on in the day we went to Temida, Bar Mleczny or Milk Bar. We got a half a watermelon. Next we were off to the Rynek and I have been telling Jeff about Wedel chocolate for ever! So we went to their cafe. We sat outside and …

Everyone took cover under buildings, horse and carriages drove through, and pretty soon everything became silent and the …

Last day in Krakow

We went up to my floor and then walked around. It seems like yesterday I was there. Next up: Blonie. Blonie is a huge field between Cracovia and Wisla soccer stadiums. It is …

Stayed in one of the private rooms. Very clean, nice breakfast, quiet, hot water, very helpful receptionist. Excellent.
