... At the first viewing
tower we met a guy who had been just working with Steve Parish. He
told us he was talking to a girl who was there yesterday and had
photographed a barking owl. As he was showing us where he thought it
was, the girl who took the photo showed up and pointed one of them
out.
We didn't stay there long as the owl
was starting to feel uncomfortable so we left him be and headed
further int the Common. Michelle found ...

Townsville 500

After looking through all of the tourist books and speaking
to numerous different people over the last few days we discovered that there
really wasn’t a lot of tourist things available to see or do in Townsville
apart from the Castle Hill lookout, the foreshore and water park, and the V8s.
Lucky for us (as we had booked 2 nights in Townsville) the V8s were on, so off
we headed to the races and to see a different track and catch up with friends
from ...
