... Our last stop was to buy tickets for the Cowboys and Roosters football game on Saturday night, so we popped into the Cowboys Leagues Club and David and I became temporary Cowboys members for a month, if only we stayed for the members draw for $13500, it could have been a great night.

... down to different bays and beaches and lots of different walks you can do but nothing major! Me and two of the girls I'd made friends with decided to hire a Barbie car and see the island this way. It was a lot of fun... We zipped around to different bays, attempted to snorkel (terrible visibility) and at sunset we went to 'the rocks' to feed the wallabies. In the afternoon it was time to say bye to Mission beach and hello again to the bus this time for 4 hours to Townsville. We're quite enjoying the buses at the minute (maybe we won't in another week) you get to see quite a lot, it stops for rest breaks and it's a place to rest!
We just spent one night in Townsville at a nice hostel called the civic guesthouse as we were catching the ferry on Saturday morning to magnetic island ...

... you bet to hold many different animals. We started with Cockatoos and turtles and then moved on to the reptiles including bearded dragons, two headed lizards and baby crocodiles. These were all very cool but really everyone is just wanting to cuddle a Koala. Finally we get to meet Matilda the Koala and gave a cuddle, she is a lot heavier then I expected considering she is mainly fur.
