... crowd" from Mareeba are together once more. Lovely to have their company.

The weather did not stay idyllic however with some easterly winds whipping up the waves and blowing all day and most of the night making sitting under the awning a bit unpleasant at times. When it gets like that we retreat into the van or head down to Peter and Jans place where it does not seem to be as bad. Of course we can then enjoy some drinkies and good conversation.

The day started with a decision to travel to Magnetic Island to see friends from Albury/Wodonga that we had quite literally bumped into on Saturday walking along The Strand. After lunch the rain subsided for an hour so we tackled the lookout (via 4wd, not really needed, but the drive still gave Olga the heebee jeebee's). What an awesome view, pity about the weather.
