Good people running the place, rooms are basic but they is all the amenities that you need. it is situated near the centre of town which is handy but BE WARNED! Watch out for running street battles and the arsehole doormen. If they don't like the look of you, your not getting in.

Brad and Greg from ABM are both arriving about six hours before us in Yangon on Tuesday, and I can see the process through the airport may take a little bit longer than, at say, Manila International, when we've travelled with Reachout. Have taken an old 2G/3G phone, as mobiles are starting ...

Besides all the marine life we also came in close contact with another form of life namely Australian Kangaroos. During one of the nights we had left some of our drinking water outside not realizing that the extreme dryness might attract these hairy mammals. So half way the night we were woken ...

Saturday is sailing day in the Hill household and Steve invited me to join them to crew on their lovely boat called Karoleeya. She's a beautiful wooden H28 ...

... our salmon selection decision. Concluding that individual portions would be better than just one whole side, with what we had in mind. Shopping list ticked off and pud picked up along the way, we grabbed our grub and headed back for prep. Bailey was up, as we organised our kitchen for the day with prep set up and ready to create some culinary delights ourselves. Roasted herby veg trays combined and ready to hit the oven, we moved on to ...

Linda's husband Greg was nice enough to give us a jump tho, so unlike Halls Gap, where we basically had to disassemble both bikes, it was just a short delay.

So, under cloudy skies, we hit the road for the last time.

The ride up to Perth hugged the coast, but it was all freeway, and we never really got a chance to see the ocean because of all the development up the coast. It ...
