Good people running the place, rooms are basic but they is all the amenities that you need. it is situated near the centre of town which is handy but BE WARNED! Watch out for running street battles and the arsehole doormen. If they don't like the look of you, your not getting in.

We are now sitting enjoying the sunshine having a glass of wine watching everyone else set up. Great clean caravan park for the first night, however not cheap.... $40 for the night. I guess you pay for the rock..."mmmmm". Tomorrow morning we are heading down to Esperance for a few days so will report more then. Peace out for now!

It's an odd hotel (International on the Water) with marble everywhere, and a huge fence around the compound to prevent you from getting near the water. But we hang out in their restaurant and pool and practice zen prior to catching our red ...

I must say that the towns all really make a huge effort to have everything on show, spic and span, taking pride in their appearance, but once again, nothing open. It seems that WA goes to sleep over Easter.

After a little while, we went to get dinner - the casino has quite a few different restaurants inside, so we went to one of those. I got a steak, it was delicious.

... to local Australian bands that no one has ever heard of (okay, I'm sure some people know them). The festival began at noon and ended at about 11:30 pm, so it was a very long day. Filled with listening to great music, fighting through huge crowds, and dancing and having fun.

Now, I'm sitting here procrastinating doing the work that needs to be done for my class in a few hours; nothing has changed.
