Very nice clean and quiet guesthouse, highly recommend if wanting to relax, not a party hostel, which is what the owner insists on.

Susanne was a good host, the hostel is quiet & relaxing just like the island. The rooms were clean & spacious with comfy beds. The fans worked great. The kitchen & bathrooms were always being cleaned. Definitely recommended.

We stayed at Yuma's for 10 days in May and had an exceptional stay. Yuma's offers private rooms as sell 4 bed dorms. The place is very clean and obviously well kept and loved. There are 2 shared kitchens which are efficient and well maintained. There is no hot water but here on the island you won't miss it.

It is a very laid back and peaceful place. If you are looking for an all night party hostel Yuma's is not for you. Susanne runs a tight ship and that is what makes the place great. I rarely give 5 stars but this place more than earned it. I will stay here again and would recommend it highly. Enjoy!

We made it! 10 months and we're finally on the Caribbean coast, and oh what a dream. Crystal clear blue shallow waters, and white sandy beaches :)
Everyday hasnt been perfect weather - its hurricane season so despite no hurricanes (thank god), winds can get really strong and we've had a fair share of downpours. Nonetheless, we've been lucky to …

... The rain finally eased right before it was time to go so we all piled on the boat and headed out to the reef. The weather was still not perfect but nobody cared. At the reef we all piled in to the water ( Some with foaties:) ). We broke in to three groups and were lead around the reef with one of the crew members who did his best to educate us. The only lesson I was interested was how to ...
