... It was very strange waking up on Christmas day in a hostel with people I had known for less than 48 hours and not a family member in sight. Strange but not bad. Just different. I was just glad that I was lucky enough to have some awesome dorm buddies. The elusive Fernando even put in an appearance that morning. He was our 6th down mate who I had never met as I'm fairly sure he was ripping up New York until the early hours. Good for him! But then he left. So I had a free bunk ...

New York

A little bit of tax free shopping, couldn't resist. ...

... short river cruise, which is a great way to see downtown Manhattan and New Jersey. like I said the weather was perfect so I got some great pictures. I won't say that visiting Liberty Island was the most exciting thing I've ever visited, but it is a pretty amazing statue and worth visiting if you're in NYC. I ended my night by going to see Phantom of the Opera at Broadway. I couldn't come to NYC and not see a show. It was amazing, I only wish I hadn't been so ...

... Thank you, Dr. Fersch. But actually, no. Nobody I talked to understood this message and it kinda frustrated a lot of students. It even came so far that our teacher e-mailed us on sunday about the mid term on monday, saying the exact same thing. 'So I had a lot of e-mails. BUT. Check Syllabus AND Table of Contents in the book, and ask informers.' Oh-boy, oh-boy, oh-boy. How much I do think that Dr. Fersch is a very inspiring man with a lot of experience and intelligence, ...
