... arrived in Times Square and debated whether to get the 1 train straight to Penn. After my detour earlier, I decided it might actually be quicker to walk. This also meant I got to see Times Square in the morning, and walk past Macy's - I will be stopping there on the way back on Sunday. Wednesday & we only have a couple of days left in New York but we certainly have done a lot so far. Belinda, Ash & myself take off in search of shoes once we’ve all had omelettes at our fav place down the street. ... heading homewards on the Staten Island Ferry. This ferry ride is always worth it, I think, as you get a good view of downtown Manhattan from the water and one also passes Ellis Island as well a the a Statue of Liberty, which is fun.
