We set out on Monday morning for Brooklyn. The day started sunny and warm and we thought a walk across the Brooklyn bridge would be nice. So we caught the train across the Hudson and walked around Brooklyn heights for a while.

We looked at all the original old buildings, mostly residential now, walked through the local Neighbourhood shops and had lunch at five guys burgers.

... from Taiwan was coming over. The world is a lot smaller here, and it's great. I spent the day, walking and exploring and was on my feet for simply hours just taking it all in. In the evening, Mariah and I met up (she is a fashion stylist for high end brands....totally over my head) and we went to Wall Street to drop something off. We enjoyed the sights but when our bus terminated at Battery Park we felt underdone. We'd only seen less than a fifth of the routes. Ee could have simply got on another bus but we'd lost our driver and guide and decided to stay in that area.
