... on an island of 87.5 sq km it means there is approx 6,035 people per kilometre and there are 42,000 Taxi's but only 18 petrol stations!! Even with all the people it has a vibrancy that you cannot compare, it's a beautiful city and very green, once you are away from the bright lights of Times Square! ... We went to the Empire State Building first!! LOL I laugh because it took us 1 1/2 hours to get to the top. A lot of queues, limited toilets and us who thought we could walk 6 flights of stairs which turned out to be about 8. ... was scheduled to land at 8.30pm, that gives us 3 hours to get to the International terminal, get our bags delivered, check in and hopefully get a couple of drinks before we board.

United I love you, 40 minutes early. Even allowing for the time it took to get from our terminal we were still at the International terminal before 8.30pm. Now will the bags show up, yep in around 15 minutes as promised plus he still only wanted to charge me the lower rate ...
