... Union Square where mayor has his office and found a group of guys setting up a street performance. They were a group of African American guys doing a mix of breakdancing, flips and Michael Jackson. They were quite talented and funny but their best skill was getting money from the crowd. ... classy performance. I was so close I could really see every face change ha ha ha. If was a truly brilliant night, she really inspired me. I declined from waiting at the stage door for her, I decided I had definitely seen her up close already. Last time I saw her I was in the last row of the gods at wicked. ... where we bought some theatre tickets for tomorrow and picked up a young Sardinian over supper.

Our meal was good, brightened by Marco who speaks hardly a word of English, and by the waiter who completely messed up our bill which resulted in us having to be assertive and refuse to pay for what we had not ordered.

It has been a good day but a long one and just now a pneumatic drill is not quite what we need.

... the Brooklyn bridge yesterday so we went and walked over it again before getting an Ice cream and walking along Brooklyn heights promenade. The itinerary was the reverse of what we did yesterday so we caught the East river ferry to Williamsburg so I could show Courtney the birthplace of hipster.
