    ... br> After a fashion show of Dad’s new clothes we went for some oysters at Thalia and then dinner at ABC Kitchen in the Flatiron district. I had been trying unsuccessfully to get a table there for months and eventually managed to reserve one with the help of our friend Steph who lives out here.     ... York should allow, if possible, at least half a day to visit both the memorial pools and the museum with its moving exhibits, as both have been done so incredibly well.

    ... and love will, at some point, be able to visit this wonderful and beautifully done museum honoring all who were lost. Of course there are exhibits of the other sites which are extremely moving also, but obviously, the main focus is the World Trade Center.

    ... one portion of food to share between the two of us as we would just waste if we ordered more. This does get us rather strange looks from the locals as they tuck into their mounds of food.

    As much as we wanted to head out and explore jetlag had finally hit and we decided to head back to the hotel to rest it out with the assumption that after a quick nap we would be ready to go again. This didn't happen and by 7pm we were both fast asleep.

    Oh well, just more to do ...
