This is a very fun hostel. Every night there is a good party downstairs at the bar. The atmosphere is great and most of the staff are VERY friendly. During our stay, we made friends with a lot of them, got some great sight seeing advice and even a few free drinks at the bar.
The rooms are safe and relatively clean. The same can be said for the bathrooms. I have stayed in nicer hostels but I have also stayed in far worse hostels.
I would recommend this hostel to young people staying in Rome, especially if you are looking to socialise and party.

Close to the train station, the bar downstairs is very fun and busy every night. Highly recommended. (Unless you're looking for somewhere quiet to sleep)

In hostel bar, close to main train station. Overall good stay. I remember some girl in the bathroom asking for help because she locked herself in the stall and couldn't get out... So be careful of the stalls, or you might get locked in!

      Amazing Italy.

Compared to Italy the trip had started off slow, maybe the backpacker season really hadn't started too kick in yet but once I arrived in Italy the days were nonstop. I could talk about Italy for hours it gave me so many stories ,some good ,some funny, all interesting. Hostel season now that I've arrived in Prague has really …

Whatever stereotype you have about Eataly, think about that. Is it the pizza? The gelato? Or is it the Tuscan wine and gondolas gliding down the canals of Venice? Whatever it is, Italy fits every stereotype I could possibly think of. Italy has a certain charm about it. A certain style of character that resonates with you and sticks to your memory …

We set out to have a solid tourist day in Rome, with the whole day planned out in advance. We didn't get out until around 11, and we had major issues buying tickets at the train station (which wouldn't take cash or any notes over €5), so the morning was already proving to be interesting. We got a train directly to the colosseum, a bizarre …

I slept considerably better than I had the night before and woke up at around 10 feeling refreshed and ready to go. We were offered muesli by adventurous Melbourne girl and gladly accepted, excited to have a free, healthy breakfast. We had to check out at 11 and the hostel had a weird €20 bag holding fee so we decided to start our extensive …

      Flight to Rome

A travel blog entry by chelsear on Aug 13, 2014

We were up at 8:20 (well, I was anyway) to get ready for another travel day. I enjoyed a good hotel shower before we hopped the train to the airport, which was packed but pretty straightforward. A guy with a cane did stare us down for most of the trip though. While we were waiting at our gate we finally found a packet of Lay's Salt and Vinegar …
