Two nights in Grünau im Almtal - a wee village in the upper corner of Austria. We weren't going to stop here but had heard good things from many people who made the effort. So we cut short our stay in Vienna to spend 2 glorious nights here.

25: got up for the 8am bus to Grunau, had lunch at the treehouse.
Chatted to the grunau peeps but got bored and went for an explore
around the area and a walk up the road with Tom. Came back and had a
nap and dinner cooked for us with dessert!!! Chatted again with the

Heard about this place from another backpacker. I had to get off the fast train from Salzburg, and catch a two train car. I wanted to get some rest before Italy.
How has this hostel rated in the past?
On a Busabout tour, so is great to find a small picturesque place to relax. Food and staff were great.
