          We had a cheap Chinese buffet lunch in the food court of a shopping centre, and coffee. Perth city centre is quite pleasant, there are a few heritage buildings sitting incongruously in front of modern skyscrapers, and the main shopping area is pedestrianised.           Before we knew it we were moments away from the piers that bordered Swan River and walked past the Swan Bell Tower that punched through the skyline along Barrack St Jetty, before continuing along the massive construction sites that engulfed this part of Perth CBD and walked along the Esplanade and eventually visited His Majesty’s Theatre.
