"Sydney is the capital that all other cities love to hate…..she seemingly has it all. And, damn it, doesn't she know it." Whoa there Lonely Planet, just calm down a second or people are going to think you’re no longer offering impartial travel advice. In the short time we spent in Sydney, I wasn’t totally overwhelmed by the ' …
English further down.
Jeg har forelsket meg. Jeg har forelsket meg i Sydney. :-)
Da jeg gikk av toget fra Brisbane paa Sydney Central og jeg gikk der og leitet etter undergrunnsbanen og billetter, da slo det meg at dette er utrolig engelsk. Menneskene, bygningene, undergrunnen... Jeg hadde booket hostel paa nettet paa forhaand. …
Christmas was great. On Christmas eve a lot of the Pink House went on a Harbour cruise. We couldn't really afford it so we ended up at the world bar with everyone else who didn't go. There was quite a few of us and it was decided that we would all go down to the Rocks. We ended up at this Irish bar with a live band. It was packed so we stood just …

How has this hostel rated in the past?
An ok place to stay if you like old, screeching houses. Young staff who likes to blend with the customers. That also makes the staff a bit difficult to find when you need something. I had to leave a note when I wanted to stay an extra few days and they were hard to find when I wanted to pay and leave. They forgot to tell me I had to get "personal" kitchen things from them (plate, knife, fork, spoon and mug) (must pay for it), I had to ask for it myself after searching the kitchen for a while and I was also suprised to hear someone from the staff telling a new visitor to "go steel someone elses cup" when they were out of cups. Bedrooms are dark. Clean? I don't know. I didn't mind staying there so not dirty at least. Good location.
