While here we hiked down past waterfalls to the National Pass which was built at a time when communities in the area were trying to out-do each other for the most beautiful walking circuit. This pass was cut into the side of a cliff to get the most spectactular views of water falls and colourful rock formations. Apparently the builder was lowered down over the cliff to lay out the route that they would carve the pathway into the cliff's edge.
... to find an Irish & British chippy called 'JP McCaffrey's'. Some haggis balls, chips, and curry sauce later we were feeling very satisfied!
