Hostel seems a bit run down and needs a good clean.
Staff could have been more helpful and friendly particularly for a tired single traveller new in town!
Facilities OK, good size communal area. Good location. "Free" Breakfast very poor, you need to put deposit down for cutlery and plate/bowl etc, and provide your own milk. Waste of time for me as only staying 2 nights. Doesn't even come close to other hostels I've stayed in. But I don't know what the comparison is like with nearby hostels in Perth.

Most importantly we picked up the Spaceships camper van. It's bright orange and called "Dyna-Soar"!

On the morning we were due to get the train we bought the Sunday paper and found our interview was briefly mentioned - see the attached photo. Upon boarding the Indian Pacific later that evening we found lots of complimentary copies, so grabbed a few for our scrapbooks. The article mentioned that the pavement temperature during the pageant was a...Perth, Western Australia, Australia geofflove
