excellent place to stay - I was there for a month broken up by trips and best beds, clean rooms, friendly staff. Also booked loads of trips through them and they honestly looked out for best deals and discounts.

Woke up packed and moved rooms. Were able to dump our stuff in the new room which was good. Sat about in the hostel. Rang the hostel for Wednesday to book the shuttle there. They said they only didn't on Monday and Friday, so they're useless. Managed to move the booking to Friday and booked the shuttle for then too. Went to Woolworths to get water …

Didn't do much in the day time. We sat using the internet, eating out cookies and played a few games of pool. (I beat Ari). Went in the pool to have a cool down as the heat was getting to us, but when I jumped in I saw something at the bottom. Turned out to be a used plaster, safe to say that put us off the pool and we didn't stay in it long.

Woke up about 11:30pm as we were both so knackered. Got ready and went and got food from Woolworths, then went back to the hostel. We waited until 12:20 then wen't to get the trip to the botanic gardens again. Got to reception and were told that the gardens were closed, and there was only 1 member of staff so couldn't drive there anyway...

Woke up about 10am and went to make breakfast. I had as close as I could get to my traditional breakfast, which was beans and egg on toast. Ari had her salmon and egg. Was a nice breakfast, but we were so stuffed from it!

Went back to the room and exchanged the gifts that we'd got each other from the market. Ari got me a curly straw with a …

Woke up and used the internet to search for some more flights. Decided in the end to just go into one of the shops. Had a cup of tea whilst we were looking.

Walked to one of the travel agents and managed to book flights with baggage for $335-ish each. We're flying on the 28th Dec, so will be spending New Year in Adelaide. Went and go some …
