Today we flew on a 13 hour flight from Singapore to Zurich. We tried to sleep but we're constantly awakened by a crying baby and annoying kid sitting behind us on the plane. When we arrived at Zurich at 6 o'clock in the morning we rushed threw security to get to our adjoining flight to London. The highlight of our day (or evening) was seeing Les Miserables. Our hostess said it would take a year to see all the plays and musicals in the city--there are so many available. ... Big Ben towered above us at midday so we stood to listen it chime 12 'o clock. We wanted to get back to Temple church as we'd seen the day before that they had free organ recitals at 1 on Wednesdays, so we walked along the Thames and through all the lovely little parks (London has so much green space!) where all the workers were making the most of the sunny weather having picnic lunches on the grass. ... be impeded, Will settled on a plan that would condense Edmund's tour from an hour to about twenty minutes and our visit to the baths from an hour and a half to about an hour.

Edmund was a sweet old man, no doubt in his seventies, that met us at a coach park to begin our guided tour. He was very understanding of the traffic issues that we had encountered and he did his best to give us the highlights of Bath in about 30 minutes. I selected Bath ...
