Expenses: Campsite Jekyll Island State Park 1 nite: $40.00 Gas for RV ...

I immediately really enjoyed the feel of Savannah. Its got a very romantic and whimsical ...

... our expectations. We did see some alligators, a couple of turtles, some vultures, otters, an ibis... not a lot going on in the swamp. Before we left we took a picture of the sunset on the swamp. A nice warm day - a high of 80 degrees!! Once back at home we put together a collaborative meal - veggie stir fry with chicken and shrimp. Then we finished the evening off with a roaring ...

Drove to Jekyl Island first today. Arrived around 1:30. Drove to the far side of the island to a picnic area and had lunch. We enjoyed a walk along the driftwood beach and took pictures of some of the interesting driftwood specimens. We were on the road again by 3:00 - heading to Waycross, Georgia. We arrived at our destination (Laura S. walker state park) some time between 4:30 and 5:00. A nice ...
