First day on the roads of New Zealand went off without a hitch...Mer and I are actually suprisingsly good at it. Nevertheless, I did opt for the extra insurance and still feel good about that decision. The roads are better than my previous experience driving on the left in Ireland, but still windy and hilly. Our next day is going to consist of mainly driving so leaving early seemed the best option. The roads on the way to Nelson are very windy and mountainous and the scenery is truly spectacular. To break the journey we stopped at the Marau falls and had some stacks from our food supplies. ... had no idea what they were getting into. There is no tommorrow until I am finished. I am a slave to my inspiration. All that said, it is just a painting, albeit a passionate one. Better paintings have been made, but not by me. I think it may be as close as anyone will ever get to seeing me from the inside out, but then again, why not just light up bliff and trip out on the pretty colors.
