... ropes, including rather extensive security measures. Virginia cleans Henk's and Suna's home here in Bo-Kaap. Suna is currently in Japan and Henk is still at work, running a workshop tonight, so haven't actually met either of my Air BnB hosts as yet, apart from their very friendly dog Roxi. Their place is lovely, creative and quirky. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is a different story! My leg wound is still not right. Have ...

... some butteriness, medium acidity and good length.

4. Bosman Adama White 2013

From Wellington. This is a blend of 62% Chenin Blanc, 21% C******nay, 7% Grenache Blanc, 6% Semillon, 3% Viognier, 1% Pinot Gris. 4 star Platter wine which Winnie says will age beautifully.

Pale lemon colour. Almost cheesy nose with apples. Apples on the palate. A little flat for me but perhaps this would change over time.

... When we returned home that night to The BIG hostel we were advised of all the things that were a must see in Cape Town and what we could do the following day. Unknowingly we decided to do what would be the best of all of those things with our first full day. We had been told by a few different people since arriving at the hostel that there were many different routes to take up a mountain called Table Mountain, and that some were easy and others harder. The easiest consisting of ...

... I was like 'this is fun and adventurous!’ and now I’m like ‘uh…maybe we should re-think this.’ Then again, the scramble at Table Mountain didn’t really have the kind of cliffs that Lion’s head did.

We got up to the top about fifty minutes after heading out from the parking lot. Watched the sky turn colors and got some awesome pictures. We headed back down before the sun set because the last part ...
