... we received from locals was much more intense than anywhere else we have traveled. I see that this country has a lot of potential, but a lot of issues that could really hold it back. The government that Nelson Mandela set up in the mid 1990’s with South Africa’s first true Democratic government is said to be one of the best in regards to personal freedoms and equality for all, but it has to be played out in the hearts of the people as well.
