... were sighted on the way and the stop at the end of the road was perfect with huge, noisy crashing waves.

We were back in time for dinner but we made it a quick one as we had been gone for over 12 hours and we travel the next day. As predicted by the restaurant next door, First Thursday is a lively street party supporting the art galleries and restaurants in the down town area. ... are many outdoor cafes, benches to sit and enjoy the cool breeze. There were a couple of musicians playing some songs you would recognize. It's a place that would take all day to explore. Kind of reminds me of Pier 39, in San Francisco, except that V A Waterfront has every thing close by.
Walked through the open market but did not stop to look at the merchandise. Tired and ready for a shower and some serious rest.

... had hoped for a hunky native!! But you can't have everything!!! We settled into the lounge drinking pink champagne until we felt that we might disgrace ourselves if we had any more and retired to our suite to sleep it off before lunch!!!
