Last night we went back to one of our favourite warungs - Mama's. Mama is a middle aged slightly plump lady with a big warm smile. When we first found the place, we thought we'd accidentally stumbled into someone's house! The place itself is basic but the food absolutely delicious (and super cheap). Mike had balinese pork and chilli/pineapple pork …

After landing in Bali we sped through immigration and found ourselves at the front of the airport looking for a "taksi" to get us to our hotel/hostel. ... on the beach butt naked. Cudos!!!

We rented another moto to take a closer look of the coastline away from Senggigi. It was much more beautiful than around Senggigi. We find it strange that many of the touristy areas you hear about aren't even close to the beauty as they are cracked up to be. Perhaps the locals are much better at hiding their paradise than we thought. We stopped at a hotel on the peak of one of the many peninsulas to find it was totally deserted. It ...

Such a good day! After realising that Kuta beach was nothing special, we decided to go to Waterbom for the day - a waterpark in central Kuta. We read some trip advisor reviews and they were really good which finalised it for us. We went out to get breakfast and then got a short taxi ride to the park. It wasn't overly busy and we did some really good rides. Laura was a bit scared at first but ended up doing all of the rides, bar one, including a kamakazee ...
