... go. Well we had seen quite a lot of rain the previous evening, and although it was bright and sunny right now, there were some evil looking clouds which seemed to be headed our way, so we decide to stay quite close and head back to Kuta Beach.

As mentioned yesterday we were repeatedly informed that this is the place to go. We had a bit of a nosey around yesterday, but we decided we must have missed something so we would give it another whirl today. I say this because ...

... on the beach butt naked. Cudos!!!

We rented another moto to take a closer look of the coastline away from Senggigi. It was much more beautiful than around Senggigi. We find it strange that many of the touristy areas you hear about aren't even close to the beauty as they are cracked up to be. Perhaps the locals are much better at hiding their paradise than we thought. We stopped at a hotel on the peak of one of the many peninsulas to find it was totally deserted. It ...

We read some trip advisor reviews and they were really good which finalised it for us. We went out to get breakfast and then got a short taxi ride to the park. It wasn't overly busy and we did some really good rides. Laura was a bit scared at first but ended up doing all of the rides, bar one, including a kamakazee ...

... Tanah Lot was just beautiful. I'm not complaining but it would be even more beautiful if the ratio of vendors to tourists want approximately 3:1. This is how it works: You walk by a woman selling postcards who asks you if you want to buy some. You say "no" and move on. No more than five meters away, another woman is selling the EXACT SAME postcards and, apparently, has decided that perhaps you changed your mind in the past 7 seconds and, yes, you absolutely need to ...

... operator pulled into the car park, dropping off some passengers from a morning tour. With our bartering skills and the friendly (almost forcefully so) reception staff convinced this driver to take us on our pre-arranged tour to the southern piccacle for some sight-seeing.
It was a good hour an a half down to our first stop, Padang Padang Beach. This is a small beach, popular with surfers, that is located down a narrow staircase which is positioned between two rock ...
