It's a lovely historic hotel, but they are having renos done so there is dust and dirt everywhere, although the rude in the service elevator is a hoot, especially after a few wines. Hahaha.

Didn't like the hotel from start to finish, Great if your on a budget but if you want a true NYC experience then this is definitely not the place to stay!

The crowds weren't huge but we spent sometime queuing to get in and up and back again. We went through bag screening as you do at any major tourist spot her. The view 86 stories up was all round and good. We could have paid more to go to 102 stories but we saw what we wanted to and it may be our last totally fine day ...

... do?!" Indy exclaimed "F$%^" in her little parrot kind of way. We ignored it and made big eyes to each other like "Whoops!!!" and then she said it again...Thankfully we haven't heard it since but both of us are VERY careful with what we say now!

That afternoon we went back to the shopping district. Indy fell asleep at the perfect time and I was able to buy a couple of dresses and some shoes. Adrian saved his shopping for that evening when we made it ...

Decided to try something different for breakfast. Went to the famous Ellen's Stardust Diner where aspiring Aspiring actors and singers wait tables while singing Broadway tunes! I would put this on the recommended list for anyone planning to go to NYC - it was very cool!

Now, it's time for some serious shopping at Macy's - our first stop of the day. We spent a few hours navigating this mammoth of a store, which is an entire city block! Many of the ...
