    We should not have worried about being able to photograph this unusual scenery because the cruise on the Li river this morning provided many spectacular and stunning views.     ... to be at the top of a mountain. I was prewarned that it was all up hill and very difficult but a taxi up and down would cost Y150 so I set off on my bike. To say I struggled would be an understatement, I nearly died! It didnt help that my chain came off and got stuck 10 minutes in.     ... We didn't know her very well before the trip. We weren't able to host her. I did take her group on a tour of Cincinnati, and we knew her from TE class. We found out her spoken and written English was very good.

    I was impressed that she carried a small notebook with her wherever she went. If we used a word she wasn't familiar with, she would write it down. She said she liked to show her notebook to her students and try to encourage them to do the same thing. ...
