It was one of those travel moments that you want to hang onto forever and say, this is it... This is why I travel. Yay for 3 dollar ginger sours on rooftops in rural China.

Until next time, I will be driftin’ on...

... sound show, Impressions Liusanjie which was produced by the same man who did the opening ceremony for the Olympic Games. Whilst parts of this were incredibly spectacular, the lights on the limestone mountains, the girl dancing on the moon, ribbon dancing on the water, it was definitely targeted at the Chinese with a heavy focus on things lighting up, including the costumes! We returned, exhausted to your hotel and fell into ...

... long. We were in different compartments as well which meant that we couldn't just sit easily and chat. Chris did catch up on a lot of his missed sleep which was good, and we had noodles and things to keep us fed. I will admit to raiding the supplies he had brought over from the UK and snacking on a bag of Tangfastics in what felt like the middle of the night. We arrived in Nanjing and went to buy train tickets for the last leg of our journey into Suzhou. The ticket lady gave ...
