3 hour drive from home to Barry's Bay for lunch and then to the Government dock where Winston was waiting to take us across the beautiful lake to their cottage. Not a warm day but sunshine predicted for tomorrow. Haven't been here for 17 years!
Cocktails and dinner and lots of chatting and so to bd in the cottage next door

Our friends Matt and Claire bought a new cottage this year overlooking Lake Wallaston and had a bunch of us up to celebrate. Our last hurrah before Matt and Claire become parents, so we definitely made it memorable. Solid long weekend, with good company and good food throughout. More ...

... on Friday and we made our way out of the city. Before too long we were stuck in a giant tailback due to an accident so it gave us plenty opportunity for introductions and chats. After many hours on dark and winding road, many detours and many near misses with deer we made it to the cottage, exhausted and ready to relax into the weekend. Marj had the wood burning stove lit which ...
