Once I had recovered from a nice walk in the sun, we hopped
on a Thames River cruise. With the London pass, our ticket allowed us to get on
and off where ever we liked along the river. As we had already been to most of
the sites the boat stopped at, we were mostly on just for a relaxing time and
to see the sites from the river. We had a nice time on the boat and got off for
half an hour at Greenwich. We both enjoyed the sun ...

We continued our walk along Whitehall with a visit to Downing Street and then onto Westminster for a photo shoot outside of Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. We noticed that Evensong was about to begin at Westminster Abbey so we took the chance and all went along and felt very privileged to sit through this sung service, the choir was very impressive.

... Hall, grabbed an ice cream from a Mr Whippy type cart and walked over to Hyde Park to see the Princess Diana memorial fountain, which was full of families enjoying the warm day. Then we walked to the Science Museum, which is next to Imperial College where Mark works, had lunch and looked at the space section and history of maths and computing.

... there are only a few people left inside the terminal. The very last people out of the terminal is the other couple! Oh my gosh. The woman is in a wheelchair so I feel bad about being irritated that they took so very long to leave the terminal. They also have 5 large suitcases to fit into the van. Our transfer guide is climbing into the back of the van to move our bags around and stuff in their suitcases. ...
