... was really excellent.

Now I'm in Westminster with all of the famous sights, and it's about 12:30. I snapped a few picturs of Parliament and Big Ben, which were spectacular, and headed for West Minster Abbey. I was very excited about seeing this and it was everything and so much more than I expected. With the London Pass I avoided a very long line, which in itself made it worth the trip. Inside, it's very impressive architecture, high ceilings, ...

And we're off!

... bonus, have had all their limbs in tact which is better than we were led to believe (although there was a 1 eyed beggar naturally). We might have overdone it a bit on our pre-booked hotel. We couldn't resist a final bit of luxury before we hit the backpacker trail but I'm pretty sure this is the most extravagant room I've ever had! So many freebies to pinch. Oh well, the budget starts on ...

The second seminar was run by the founder and editor in chief of Wanderlust Travel Magazine with special guests - a travel writer and a film maker (Leon McCarron - Irish if the name doesn't clarify that).
It was wonderful to get the ins and outs of how to get your work out there ...

... Still visited by many..any tribute to the "People's Princess" is still ever popular around London Town.
Over to Hyde Park ..an area of over 350 acres of lawns, lakes , magnificent trees etc.. Where another tribute to Princess Diana has been created..the winding stone fountain , which has children of all ages paddling in the summer months.

... few things we wanted to tick off the list! We had a wee shop down Oxford street, where We visited the favourites - Zara, Topshop, River Island!
