Tegus, San Pedro - Vamanos Utila!
Heck... San Pedro eh? I need to learn to stop listening to other people so much and make my own mind about a place. I keep having too much fear instilled in me to the point where I don't get to enjoy a place. Anyway as we ended up hooking up with a group of us, about 7 of us I think, I started to feel fine about the place. Yeah its dodgy but it …
It's a shithole....
"The AIDS capital of Latin America; plan accordingly." - The Lonely Planet Guide to Central America.
With a write up like that, one really doesn't expect much from this place, but we had to cross from the Pacific to the Caribbean and it was a l-o-n-g journey, so we had no choice but to stay here. To be honest this was the first time I …
Cast Away
Jilly & Billy are gone, and there are now only 3 amigos left .
Since my last entry quite a bit has happened .. so we should catch up, don't you think ?

An Unplanned Break in the Action
Mike here. After nineteen days of fast and furious (and fun!) action, I had a feeling it was about to catch up to us. A small streak of bad luck has hit us. As Elana mentioned before, our camera died, leaving us a bit sore. As we spent the day with Sue Ann on Roatan, I started to not feel too well. On the boat back and the bus ride to San Pedro …

TravelPod Member ReviewsTamarindo Hostel San Pedro Sula
If you're planning on staying in SPS for any amount of time, I would recommend Tamarindo Hostel . Lorette is great, the location is alright .. a bit of a walk to the ATM and a few blocks away from a grocery store/places to eat, however they do have a kitchen so you could easily cook all meals in . All in all, the location is safe and that's really what we were looking for on our stop over in SPS . It's also a big help that they sell Tica Bus tickets right in the lobby of the hostel!
