Lovely hostel, good facilities but don't go in wet season

The facilities were excellent, it was a little out of town but easy to walk to. However our first room attracted so many bugs, it was mosquito season and other bugs were loving the wood frames round the windows so we had to move rooms as I wouldn't have slept a wink. Our second room was pretty much bug free.

Yesterday we decided now that Narpa is receiving good care at the vet and is boarding there until we fly home Saturday, we decided to try to enjoy the rest of our time in this country. It has been a real challenge doing anything in 37˚c heat, dust and ****** roads. I honestly can say that this is the first time I have been on vacation in years where I am counting the days to get home. I feel torn between leaving Narpa at the vet while we are ...

... too, I have done god knows what to my thumb, I think I've basically over exerted it and it's probably not going to get better because I'm constantly using it. My back, neck and knee are also killing me. I've pretty much become a little old lady! I had to buy new booties today because I'm testing out some open fins that Brenda wants a review on, with open fins you have to wear booties because otherwise it rubs. Also keeps your feet warm in the case ...

... Yes, we not only hear them every night, we
actually got to see them going about their business in the trees right behind
our ablution block. Dark and furry with long prehensile tails these interesting
primates live in small family groups. Every so often they utter a sound between
a deep growl and a howl, surprisingly deep in timbre for such a small animal.
It’s however rather a comforting sound.
