Hi there! Just thought I'd write another update from Bangkok! We've been here for a few days now, and I think we're finally getting the hang of things. On our first day here we went to Wat Pho, also known as the temple of the reclining Buddha. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wat_Pho. It's really quite breathtaking, especially the feet which are decorated in images made of mother of pearl. Day 6 (cont'd) We left Sukhothai before 10am, with lunch and dinner in between, and we did not get to our hotel in Bangkok until 9pm. Quite a bit was spent in the notoriously heavy traffic as we approached Bangkok city itself.
