The Return to Sydney
So, I'd been back in Sydney a matter of hours when I got a text from my manager at Bondi Pizza asking if I could work that evening - which was really good, as I want to spend a lot of the next couple of weeks working and earning some money for New Zealand (and potentially my return flight to Oz!) Was so good to see all the old faces again …
Catching up with old friends
Today was a really good day; I got to Bondi about an hour early for work, so I was wandering down to the beach for a bit when I got stopped by some guy who was directing some sort of documentary, and he asked if I'd like to take part. Manly Coastal Walk with the Gills
Many thanks to Rob and Ann Gill for a lovely, lovely day - they brought a slice of the Surrey love all the way to me in Sydney! Easter Weekend
My Easter weekend saw lot of work (pretty much every day) but a lot of play too. Em and I tried to go out on Friday night after I finished work, not realising thast EVERYTHING shuts on Good Friday here after 10 o'clock. Goodbye Sydney!
My last few days in Sydney have been spent meeting up with friends and saying a lot of goodbyes. I went for dinner with Neil and Marianne, the family friends of mine who live in Vaucluse, and was spoilt rotten with another home cooked meal and lovely company.
