A fantastic hostel, the best I have stayed in. Modern and extremely clean. Well equipped kitchen and large dorm rooms. Plus it is in a great location.

After ABC our next mission was lunch... since the tour lasted a while past our lunch time. Once we were fed we watched Leah and Matt participate in the Ice Challenge. When that was all over it was around 4pm so Casey, Matt, Diana, Josh, and I went over to the ANZAC memorial that is just around the corner in Hyde Park. It was ...

I woke up ready to seize the day! I can't believe I'm in Australia, of all places! :-)

First, let me say it's very warm (around 70 degrees) and doesn't feel like their winter at all. Although, I hear a lot of other backpackers say it's cold and some folks around town are bundled in scarves and heavy jackets. I really don't understand.

Anyway, it was a very productive day. I started the job search/application process, set up and funded my bank ...

We wandered closely but picked up a map advertising free walking tours, so thinking it would be a great way to,see the area, we joined to tour led by a young man born and raised in Sydney. ...

... are 'always' there to not see one...we did
though spot a stingray swimming along the rocks. We also had another
amazing sunset whilst walking along the beach which has to be one of
my favourite things to see whilst travelling. Walking back into the
main shopping area it was a great atmosphere with many families still
