A fantastic hostel, the best I have stayed in. Modern and extremely clean. Well equipped kitchen and large dorm rooms. Plus it is in a great location.

Woke up at 9am and did some final packing then left the hostel about 10am. It had been raining a fair bit in the night and was a gloomy day.
We caught a taxi to the YHA as it was so far and wet. We were lucky as they were just opening the roads that the taxi needed to take!

Got to the YHA, my bag made a ripping sound as I put it …

We headed into the city to see the shops, and found the most beautiful arcade called Queen Victoria Building. took lots of photos and Georgia got a macaroon from Zumbos - yummy. checked out the Myer centre, and then DJ's. Sophie is amazed at all of the beautiful shops and clothes. It was very busy …

Walked down Argyle St to catch the Taronga ferry. it was a beautiful trip over the Harbour. The zoo was good, lots of animals and lots of walking. snow leopards were great to see, the chimps were going nuts …

I am just going to say this now and get it out in the open so we all know where we stand...I LOVE SYDNEY!!!!!!!

From the moment I stepped off the train at Circular Quay to see Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge lit up in the night sky I fell in love with the city. The view took my breath away and I nearly cried with joy at the fact …
