    Waking up after my first nights sleep in Singapore I felt pretty good however the thin curtains in my room let so much light into my room that I had to use my eye mask (one that makes me look like a fly with large boggle looking bumps) - also the colour of the curtains (green and yellow) cast the colours into the room leaving it quite bright considering. Got dressed and prepared for the day which was starting at Orchard Road.

    ... had to wonder if I was being honest because back home, India had long forgotten these heroes.

    It is so disheartening to see that while the Singapore Government has made such a genuine effort to honour the memory of these brave men, our own Government has virtually forgotten them. They don't even find a mention in our schoolbooks. Is this how we remember the brave hearts who sacrificed their future so that we could enjoy ours?

    ... taste that sweet. It was alright; warm and nice. It was around $6 and it's quite affordable because they give you a tea pot and a cup instead of just one cup. It's all worth it.


    For brighter environment, the courtyard with natural light and comfy chairs is also available at the back. There's also wifi and powerpoint if you are looking for a place to work on your laptop too.

    ... on the free 2 hour tour (which I regrettably fell asleep in towards the end-not because it was boring but because I am so tired!) I found out from other people that they've never been to an airport that offers a free quick tour in between flights!
