      ... one looks at anyone anymore, no smiles, no eye contact, just phones... Am asking myself where this world is going... During the day I did the most important sightseeing, went to Marina Bay, the Riverside, the Marina Bay gardens, Chinatown (so clean! Not to be compared to Chinatowns in other cities), saw the botanical gardens including orchid garden and the Tiong Bharu district (the oldest one!). And no, I didn't go to see the shopping malls on ...

      ... by the Bay and a half day trip to the farms at Kranji. The area is about the only area of farming on the island and vastly different to the downtown. There is also a wetlands in the area, however I was more taken by the large lizards than the birds.

      The Singapore Grand Prix was being run the week after I was there so the city streets were gradually being closed down as it approached as it is run on a street circuit around Marina ...

      ... things I want to do already!) so this week I went to gardens by the bay(ll attach pictures!) it was amazing! And as we were wondering they had a light show start in the trees... It was stunning :) Today I'm meeting a friend and going to suggest going to the botanical gardens ... So ll post picture later if she wants to do that too... Apparently you can get a picnic basket from the cafe and go and relax in the park :) x Just having a coffee (my closet local shop... They must've seen ...

      Today we propped by the pool and enjoyed the first really sunny day since we arrived. We kept putting off our repack and getting our boarding passes but it made no difference, we still leave tomorrow at 7:15 am for a 10:40 flight.
