... an absolute pleasure. They welcomed us into their home, lent us a car and helped to sort us out with jobs when we first arrived. I know Chris has loved working alongside Bill again and has, as always, learnt so much from him, swimming wise. Cheers Evans'!!!!

G'day bloggers! My blog spot today is our little sun trap and make shift painting station. We're off to Kuranda today. Situated about half an hour away from Cairns up in the Rainforest, it was originally a timber and mining town to which they built a railway. It became a holiday village in the 1920's and was take over by the hippies in the 60's. These days it is Tourist Central but has a Butterfly 'House' similar to that at Melbourne Zoo that specialises in local butterflies. A visit is on T's must do list. ... meat was cooked so well and the sauce that they made to go with it literally made the sandwich taste ten times better! You could tell that everyone was enjoying it because no one was talking until we all finished eating! Our next and most exciting adventure of the day was the whip cracking.
