It has been a restful experience here in Mareeba with Bruce and Jeanette Marshall, friends from our days in Cairns in the 2000-2003 period. Jeanette works with MAF in parts and Bruce drives cane trucks to the mill. We were to get the two replacement tyres here on Thursday. They had to be ordered from Brisbane. ... We then dropped the Irish girl at the bus station as she was leaving, did a food shop, grabbed some lunch then headed back to do a walk called the blue arrow walk. It was about 3 hours return with a nice view of cairns and the airport at the top.
