... and go 30 minutes before they lock the gates. We walked all the way to the other side to find out the
path was closed for maintenance and we had 5 mins to walk out the way we came. There were also some really interesting plants that we had never seen before.

We finished the night off having pizza at the restaurant and watching a movie at the outdoor cinema.

... we walked to a near by car hire company and have ended up with Hyundai "Henry" the i20 whilst we're here! We drove to Port Douglas along an absolutely gorgeous coastal road which at some points was very very windy. There was a few stop off places along the way which we took a few photos from. Port Douglas itself was lovely with a nice Marina and shopping area. They also had a Sunday market on which actually sells nice things and not the usual tat! After Port Douglas ...

... 4:45am. Which really sucked as I had to get up at about 6:30am. I had a tour planned of the rainforest, the village of Kuranda, and a trip on a sky rail, that was hundreds of meters above the rainforest. (Oh god, this country is changing me. ... and when you are all attached in a line this reeked havoc. The imbalance caused my oxygen tank to knock against the instructors making a sound not too dissimilar from the underwater bombs in finding Nemo. Plus the fact i had to keep yanking the girl down to keep in line with us I was feeling very distressed. I tried to communicate this problem to the instructor but we weren't taught a signal for this and she thought I just needed to equalise ...
