... Never-Never land." So at Ellis beach and time for our first cook out in the camper. Pasta and salad with something......?? Let me tell you, we were already 8kg extra, if we cook like this every night it will be 14kg!! Great meal and I did the dishes. A bottle of wine at the beach under a never seen before lit up sky with stars.!! Millions of them and okay for us as the weather looked good for tomorrow.
We woke up at 10am. Actually too late for camper ...
... Ayers rock/ Darwin)... then I found an English couple at Dougies who
were heading North.....
So the next afternoon off we headed in their lovely camper van to Cape Tribulation.... stopped briefly in Daintree.... nothing there but a famous river where you can go white water rafting or crocodile spotting (couldn't afford either)... got to Cape Tribulation before it got dark... in time to witness the gorgeous beaches there.....
On my travels I've seen so many ...
... shade. Had bought some steak etc for dinner and Graham had another go at barbecuing at one of their 'frying pans' - not too good - his admission not mine. Just doesn't do it the same - never mind - off to Palm Cove tomorrow morning to Paradise!
Cairns, Queensland, Australia gandsinoz... after the opened stuff too! Then she offered her husband’s beers, convinced that he wouldn’t be able to drink it all tonight, but we suggested they should wait to see what was left in the morning as he was clearly setting out to make big inroads into his stash!
They were most interested in discussing the English property television programmes that they enjoy, marvelling at the age and abundance of period details in so many ...
... out, ran through the water fountain, lost Georgia's shoes, and got chased by security for being caught on the roof of our hostel...
which is even classier than the last one, we have our own a massive balcony joining to everyone elses. We'er finally staying in one place for 5 days so we can get one night for free, so it's gonna be lovely to sleep in and not have to check out or catch a 6am bus!

Cairns, Queensland, Australia wollifer... of wine) playing intense drinking games before heading back to the Woolshed to (try) and dance it off. By day we were at the lagoon down on the esplanade, a lovely layed out green area for the public with a huge swimming pool, electric BBQ's and fitness equipment. By night it was to the Woolshed for free food, back to Caravella's with the 'goon' to get cheaply ****** and then off back to the Woolshed with free entry vouchers to stumble ...
Cairns, Queensland, Australia ollieandmeals... there are over 9000 birds here. and they are ugly, smelly, and horrible. So about 15 mins go by and i realize that the shuttle is not coming back for me ( i know this cause its about a 1 min boat ride). So i put my fist up in the air (sign for I need help, but im not in trouble) and wait, for another 20 mins. so here i am stuck on an island with about 40 Japanese people, and 9000 birds. until he finally comes back. I asked where hed been, and he said he ...
CAIRNS, Queensland, Australia cabesnoz... so very little water is moving through the valley. It's dammed near the top for power generating. We rode the train back into Cairns. The next day we spent the day shopping and sitting in the pool. We had barramundi that night for dinner. Wonderful fish! The next day we were gone, back on a plane. This time we were off to Hong Kong via Brisbane. The bush fires all through Australia are bad and you could see the fires and smoke from the air. The sky is filled with smoke.
