    bit hard to find, but owner really helpful with maps and onward travel info, free breakfast, nice balcony and decent beds

    ... 14 hours travel within 19 hours, the longest leg being 9 hours from Podgorica to Skopja.     ... easiest-quickest route. I have booked Villa Kaneo - somewhere in the Old Town part in Ohrid. Might be a little hard to approach - pederstrian area only at the lake shore. That means going up-and-down the hill every day. But I hope the scenery is worth it. The day-trips: a boat-ride to some monasteries. Maybe Bitola, though could visit it also on the way back from Greece. Another option is the National Park and mountains nearby. Should be enough for 3 days. And we want to rest ...
