    ... get the free $5 voucher from the government). I find that Singaporeans take cuing as a natural thing. They do not blink an eye at joining a huge cue to take part in even a trivial event. For me, I would look at the amount of waiting time and how badly I wanted to do the event, then decide to bail or not. No such thing for Singaporeans. They join that line and chat with friends or simply stand quietly.

    ... taxi back to hotel. Showered and checked out at 2pm. Have to kill a few hours so went to lunch in Orchard Rd and back to hotel foyer bar where we downed a few drinks in preparation for our flight to London at 11.30pm tonight. Left hotel at 7pm via taxi to airport. Departed on time 11.30pm Expecting a sleepless night.

    Today elisa tried pandan bread and kaya: a paste made of coconut, egg and pandan. she liked it even thought she finds it a bit sweet.
