      ... and the city was before us now. We enjoyed the riverwalk and decided to take a taxi to the Hard Rock Cafe. I know, but after all the walking in the heat and humidity we kinda "needed" a burger and a beer. We went back to the hotel for a rest, and to recuperate from a headache, before venturing our and enjoying Indian food in Little India later.       ... they let us into the pit lane area and we were able to walk along the actual track! I wasn't sure who was more excited Simon or Robert! Lots of photos were taken and we walked up and down the start finish straight!       ... Hotel and offers American diner-style food - extra large hot dogs, monster sized cheescakes and root beer floats. Grub that really hits the spot! The waiters don oversized baseball shirts and baseball caps, drinks arrive in steins, napkin dispensers take their place in the centre of each table and Presley tunes blast from the jukebox. My reunion with Heinz Tomato Ketchup was epic.

      ... this Chinese woman who was part of a (loud) Chinese tour group. It was all quite amusing.

      At dinner on Monday I stupidly said I'd make dinner for everyone the following night. How they all LAUGHED! "What do you know how to do with veg apart from boil it? Boiled pak choy anyone?" That did make me laugh, and perhaps I should've made a plate of boiled pak choy especially for this lovely cousin of mine!

If near the area has shuttle bus, it would be great because this helps reduce the cost of our fare.
