    ... separation, the woman went to medical school with 2 of the cardiologists I work with. What a hoot!

    Our dinner search ended up with Thai. It's much tougher than I thought it would be to find vegetarian. Lots of chicken and pork and sometimes just photos of the food. The weirdest thing is that lots of restaurants have plates of fake food displayed in the windows to show off their menu, including fake drinks.

    ... think their staff need some English training, as the guy doing the safety demonstration announcement seems to have got the words feet and head mixed up, meaning the air masks come down from the ceiling and you should put them over your feet and breath normally...     ... and turtles in the lake. The nicest part was the Orchid Garden where there are hundreds of different types of orchids and other plants growing. My favourite was a type called a Pitcher Plant which is designed to catch insects in its large bowl. It had little teeth around the edge to stop them escaping once they'd been drawn in with the sweet nectar. The tiger orchids were also very unusual and pretty.     ... 14pounds each, so it wasn't an instant decision)and offered us a free drink due to the wait. So then it would have been rude not to and just as our second Singapore slings arrived, so did our food! the food was delicious and a good portion size too, well worth a visit if you are ever in Singapore! So this is likely our last visit to Singapore this trip and we have really enjoyed our time here but now it's time to head to the airport for the next destination on our megamoon! ...
