... we climbed in the South Tower of Stephansdom to get a glimpse of the city views from above. Climbing almost 400 stairs left us a little breathless, but the view even more. ... possibly one of the coolest church visits I have ever experienced because inside they have constructed a temporary lift(originally to restore the frescoes on the ceiling) that allows you to go all the way up into the cupola of the building and view the paintings on the ceiling within feet.
