      ... reason that during a hurricane in 1674 the nave of the church collapsed. It took over 150 years for the rubble to be finally cleared. The nave was never rebuilt, becomming the Domplein, an open space between the cathedral and the Dom Tower. We just wandered the city for the rest of the day. 11 June we left Amsterdam to travel to the Hook of Holland to catch the ferry to Harwich.       ... to Amsterdam, this place it highly recommended, just don't expect to eat much there as they only had bar snacks.
      We took the train back into town since we needed to eat come dinner. We found a good looking kebab stand, since the only other options were fries, burgers and Brazilian food. Since those didn't sound stellar we made note of the kebab stand and then went on a mission for a bathroom. Another lesson, use a bathroom you have available in Europe wherever you are

      ... into one of the streets and enjoyed both a hot chocolate and the accompanying escape from such an intense neighbourhood. Later that evening (after another nap and some passive weed inhalation... Seriously, the amount of smoke in this city is ridiculous) I meet with a couple from the tour for 'date night.'
