2 days before "Fryslan"
... time the environment will be even better to calm down, we are meeting in Paulie's home town: Leeuwarden!
Looking forward to see my friends and see what "Fryslan" is like! It's just 6,5 hours on the train but I'm sure it's worth it. I'm telling myself I will be reading all the way there and thus, catch up on all the reading I haven't been doing in the last few months!

Het grote inpakavontuur
... week hebben we dus volgepland en een vast hostel waar we in slapen met de hele groep. Deze laatste dagen hier vul ik met het regelen van alles en nog wat, papierwerk, de laatste vaccinaties voor de tijd in Indonesië en Thailand. En het alvast inpakken van m'n backpack om te kijken hoe dat allemaal moet. Dit inpakken is nog een hele opgave gister is er gelukt om de tas tot 20 kilo te vullen het valt ...
Back where it all began
... but also to think about my next steps in life. There's a lot of directions (literally) I can go and in a few weeks I'll know what I'll do next. What, where and when? Not sure yet, but I've had a lot of positive reactions on my blogging activities and intend to keep writing in future....

Rain, rain go away!
... warm and sunny.
Fortunately they were wrong on the rain side as the rain stopped, the clouds cleared and the sun came out, so we set off with waterproofs on to be ready as dark clouds were still around. John had put up our unmodified rain cover (job for John still on the list!) which worked fine for a couple of showers until the wind caught it and the poles came apart and we lost our 2 tennis balls that protect the spikes! It was more dry than wet, so ...
