My last time in Scotland
Our visit to Edinburgh was to primarily catch up with our German friends from Munster, who had flown across a day earlier for a small holiday for 4 nights. That first day gave the 4 girls a chance to do their sight seeing, and so by the time we arrived late afternoon the next day they were ready to see what Edinburgh had to offer at night. For the …

In terms of room quality and overall service it's very much like any hostel. Nice detail on the cards to access the rooms, much safer than keys, and also decent breakfast.
The staff was super nice and helpful, always with a smile. The bar downstaris has live music and activities every night, but it's rather small.
Negative notes: no internet in my room (34), a simple router on the floor would resolve. Water temperature on the shower too hot, and if you try to change it you get cold water.
Oh, the location is pretty much as good as it gets, super central just in front of the station.

Cheap, value for money and in perfect location to Waverely train station. Also very close to the Royal Mile which is great for attractions, drinking and eating...
