Woke up around 7:30 and went for breakfast at the hotel. After we were ready we drove to the Alamo car hire place as we couldn't get our Nav man to charge (it was just because I wasn't putting it in the right spot don't worry it was on the handle not the actual navman). We have a breakfast in our room, then at 10ish, drive to the old town area of San Diego, it's called the Old Town, as it was the first inhabited area, until the settlers decided they needed to be nearer a more dependable source of water so moved to the new town. This tour had a great guide who loved pointing out his favourite places to eat along with plenty of suggestions of things to do in the area. Whilst in the water we got to go passed a bait dock covered in sea lions dosing up the sun. Since San Diego has a large defense presence a lot of the sites and discussion was related to it.
