Insert "slappy" here to Jamie for driving me to the cabin and laying under the stars with me, Tay, and Carlee so that I really had time to capture the moment. The ride out of Julian was also an unforgettable one- I volunteered to be sweep for the day alongside Carlee so we got to spend the day going reaaaaal slow, starting out with an almost 2-hour breakfast feast on Main Street in Julian. Heading down the Pacific Coast Highway we were blown away by the landscape and stopped at the house where Orson Wells and Rita Hayworth once lived. Black Sunday! Only a few photos today - we flew from Phoenix to San Diego and dropped about 40 degrees in temperature. We hadn't got a plan and tempers were fragile. We picked up a car and eventually booked a motel in the old town. We bought some beer, wine and fruit from a Farmer's market and after aperitif's in our room we staggered to the square and selected one of the many Mexican restaurants and ended Black Sunday getting drunk on Margaritas and eating ...
