a good thing they have buses running between points in the park as
you'd be exhausted waking, especially with small children. Then we
wandered a bit and Josh saw the Red Panda, his favourite animal. A
lot of the animals had taken shelter during the rain and hadn't really

We have a breakfast in our room, then at 10ish, drive to the old town area of San Diego, it's called the Old Town, as it was the first inhabited area, until the settlers decided they needed to be nearer a more dependable source of water so moved to the new town. We have pre- booked tickets for a trolley tour that takes you around the whole city, it's supposed ...

... and they also provide interesting facts you wouldn't have otherwise heard. This tour had a great guide who loved pointing out his favourite places to eat along with plenty of suggestions of things to do in the area. Whilst in the water we got to go passed a bait dock covered in sea lions dosing up the sun. Since San Diego has a large defense presence a lot of the sites and discussion was related to it.

Goal: Let my pasty white skin see some sun
Status: Overdone ...
