... had to change trains unexpectedly as we crossed the boarder into Serbia. The Hungarian train stopped and we had to walk along the tracks for 50 meters to clamber onto a Serbian train. I feel there are many hard-feelings between these countries that I don't know about being an ignorant Australian. ... recently because houses, cars and streets were covered in white, fluffy snow and it was noticeably colder than Mostar. We spent the first day walking the streets and ended up at the war museum. Sofia is a great town. They have a free walking tour, so that scored major bonus points. I learned a lot about the city. It is really old and has been under the rule of 5 different groups.
