... down and then dolly stepped the whole way down the hill. It wouldn't listen if I told it to go a different way down either, it picked the way it wanted to go and went. Jerry, my horse, was a bit better at it then Sim's horse. His horse when it got wet on the track would just end up sliding. Also if the front horse started to trot or gallop then all the others did until the front horse stopped. You also couldn't overtake either the horses wouldn't really let you. The ...

... Excellent food but the service was not the best. Afterwards, a few of us decided to go for a drink with George downtown. As this was George's first time in Sofia he knew as much about the place as we did. So after trawling the streets for 30 mins and only finding one strip bar, we called it quits and headed back to our hotel. They had a bar in the lobby so we bunkered there for an hour and drinking Bacardi and cokes in fond memories of the 70s.

... the town the night before catching long buses and trains!! The 5 of us (ourselves, Sam and the 2 Americans we met in Mostar) hit the town for drinks and dancing to celebrate the end of a chapter. Tears were shed, laughs were had and new memories were made.

Despite the next morning not being our finest, we had to get ourselves together to catch an 8 hour bus from Sarajevo to Belgrade, Serbia. After several stops, a few Bosnian pastries and lots of Ipod usage, ...
