It was a lovely first stop for us on our Australian adventure, the staff were amazingly friendly and super cruisey. Definitely had a great night out with the whole crew. Clean rooms and it was nice to have our own bathroom and kitchen per room!

I arrived after a good few days of drinking, and for me I did not want to spend the money on the bar crawl, but the staff were super friendly and not pushy, inviting me to just join the pre drinks to make friends, I also had a great room set up with appartment style bathroom and kitchen, I spent my time in the TV area, a comfy set up of pillows and couch cushions on a wooden pallete created 3 tiered chair, great vibe and nice stay.

the adverts and reviews make this hostel out to be better than it is, its still a great hostel but half the things promised are not true so its unnecessarily ruined our expectations

After a long night of waiting at the Auckland International Airport with little sleep, we finally made it to the Gold Coast in Australia! Due to the three hour time difference we had left New Zealand at 6 am and arrived in Australia at 6 am, which gave us heaps of time to explore and have fun. Once we figured out how to use the public …

Everyone I have spoken to has told me Surfers is the Australian equivalent of Miami / Llorette / Salou / Any resort town in Europe. That all there was to do was to do theme parks, water parks and drink alot. So with my budget limited and the lack of desire to go to any theme parks or to drink, I was not expecting that much of this town.

Since everyone told us how fantastic Byron Bay is, we decided to go there and maybe stay - it is only 15 minutes drive away. We got there early and it seems like a nice little town. The beach is lovely but we have seen a lot of nice beaches, we didn't see what there was to get excited about so we agreed to move on. We have decided that we would ...
