... bad luck that we visited Monteverde on one of the windiest days of the year. Not only was it windy, it ended up being an abnormally cold and wet few days too. Normally it is 26 degrees (78 fahrenheit) during the day in Monteverde. It was only 16 (60) while we were there. And it got even colder at night. Excessive with it’s usage of obviously bountiful supplies of thermal water; you can ride a speed-slide or two other water-slides into one of the 7 or so public pools.
