After minimal sleep in the common area, we woke up feeling absolutely disgusted and I had bites on me. Double vom. The management didn't believe us, said they've never had a bug problem, and wouldn't refund our second night. We chalked it up up as a loss and switched hostels immediately. On a positive note - the next ...

... we made up after our mini tiff. And we have both decided to not mention it again, and have been out for a lovely evening. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe and had a fab night. The prices are fairly high there but we watched what we ordered, and ended up with a 60 dollar bill which is not bad at all considering how much we ate! (the portion sizes are so large there). So we had a lovely evening. It is Tom's birthday today so I messaged him, and tried face timing ...
