Hi everyone So, we left LA to begin our jaunt to nearby Vegas. We got there approx 4:30pm and it was already starting to get dark. Everything was pretty clean and tidy.. My only complaint was that the towels and common areas smelled like moth balls. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and it's a good location.. It's about a 20 minute walk to Fremont Street, and a mile or so from the strip--although you have to take a bus down to the strip for $8 for 24 hour pass, unless you REALLY love walking. There's also free parking at the hostel and places to park near Fremont street for fairly cheap prices.
