A day out on the motorbike! What a lovely setting and beautiful weather too. We set off with a definite mission – to solve the fittings for the gas bottle. We did however choose scenic routes which took us over the mountains and through villages.

Eventually we ended up in Nowy Targ. Dave lost himself in Castorama to solve problems. Lucky for me, right next door was "Alma" – a very upmarket supermarket ...

... 14th century as a Hungarian border stronghold, it was Hungarian owned until after WWII. Czorsztyn Castle across the lake was the Polish equivalent.

Having managed one hill, I opted for the river route. We followed the Dunajec downstream on the western bank and soon crossed into Slovakia. What a pleasure to simply cross an international border!
