We went to the airport in a Limo, Nanna came with us and Pa met us at the airport. Nanna and Pa gave me a Saint Christopher pendant on a necklace to protect me. The plane from Perth to Johannesburg is very big and comfortable, Leaving at Midnight flying throughout the night it will take eleven and a half hours to get to Johannesburg. ... I was cheating. I decided to ditch the “training wheels” when the piece of paper flew out from my chopsticks and landed on the plate of the woman, whom I did not know, sitting next to me. I kept trying the chopsticks, but the attempts only resulted in hand cramps and very little food in my mouth. I eventually gave up entirely and used my hands and a fork.
