La Boca.
Well, La Boca was a bit of a disappointment. It was neat, but very touristy. Just row after row of airport style gift shops and pushy sales people. Tango, steak and party!
Left a cold (12 degrees) and grey Ushuaia and after flying for 3.5 hours landed in a roasting hot Buenos Aires...it was 32 degrees! Bit of a shock to the system! “Don't believe the hype.”

Cramped, dark and noisy in the lower floor dorms next to the reception. The bathroom door didn't close and the buzzer and front door make crazy noises...Staff were lovely but gave me misinformation. Also someone stole my tofu empanadas! Not the hostels fault but didn't help my mood. For less money you can stay around the corner in the nice part of San Telmo. They did have an excellent breakfast though.

I would totally recommend this place. The folks who run it have created a great atmosphere here and make their guests feel very comfortable. Well they made me feel very comfortable anyway. I've been to a few hostels around BA and nothing even compares. If you want to have a relaxed stay though meet and hangout with some great like-minded folks, I would highly recommend this place. It's more an experience than it is a stay. Definitely take in the free tango lesson on Monday evening!!!
