... and home made bread, all delicious. The owner Jan then gave us directions to walk to Bude 2 miles to the coast. We took the country paths into the town, and then started the river, canal and south/west coast walk it took 5 hours and the photos attached say it all, just beautiful! Returned to Bude and had Cornish clotted cream tea in celebration of a day's walking efforts. We return to the Tree Inn for dinner tonight. Started a bit later today after a wee sleep in, made my way into town to pick up my Oyster and Sim card that Dicko had kindly left for me at Ann's work. ... the Pavilion. One thing I didn't like was the new media center. It is supposed to represent the future of the club. I just think that it doesn't belong. Mixing futuristic with historical makes for and odd contrast which I didn't really like. The inside of the media center was all like a light blue, so it felt like a pool. After this we went to Octagon for a lecture on sports marketing. This was really awesome because they are one of the biggest marketing agencies in the entire world. ...
