... was really pretty and the ride was really good especially as it was mostly in the shade. It was quite peaceful with just the noise of water splashing and people chatting. It didn't go for very long though which was a bit disappointing but apart from that I really enjoyed it. The Metro moves quickly and before you knew it we were at our stop. From there it was just a short walk to the B&B. We arrived around 4.30pm, we quickly inspected our room, which was nice and clean, and then we ventured out to discover the local streets and get some dinner.

... best tiramisu of my life! I don't think any other will ever compare. It was more custardy than whipped creamy and it had chocolate shavings and chocolate powder. Perfetto! And we weren't rushed at all. We walked out right at 8:45.

At the conlusion of the ride we had a good couple of hours to explore Venice on our own, we looked in a few shops and bought the standard masks. ... found the AFL. So I got to watch one sad quarter. At least we came back a little.

After the football I wandered the streets for a while till I found the place I was to meet up with my tour group. It was at the Galleria Del Academia.
